A new David Gogo album, Skeleton Key has been released in Canada, UK, Europe and Australia. The album will be released late March or early April in the USA.
Gogo has once again taken ownership of songs that are not usually considered part of his blues genre. His versions of Stevie Wonder\\\'s Sign, Sealed, Delivered and Depeche Mode\\\'s Personal Jesus are truly inspired. His original tunes explore new ground in and around the blues genre with his rock edge flashing over R&B and soul influences. Recorded in Nanaimo, British Columbia, the album is a step forward for this outstanding guitarist. The first two rock singles from the album - Personal Jesus and (Just Ask) Jesse James - did extremely well in Canada getting charted across the country and breaking in several major markets. A new Canadian single will be released in spring 2003. |
